In fact, the options you choose to use your Garden House for are limitless and only restricted by your desire and imagination. These are custom made high quality, long lasting Garden Houses not to be confused with mass produced glass houses or green houses.

We can custom make to almost any size and shape, although our standard sizes are designed to be the most cost effective. The framework is manufactured from high quality aluminium extrusions with a powder coat finish, in fact the same aluminium extrusions we use in our high quality windows and doors. Our method of construction gives a high strength structure, great durability that will never rot, rust or need painting. A wide range of over 50 different powder coat colours are available to choose from to match your own setting.

There is a wide range of options available as glazing material, in fact some may choose to have a mixture to create the style and functionality that they are looking for. We can offer glass (clear, tint or obscure), polycarbonate, polygal, fibreglass, solid panels such as cement board or aluminium sheet, in fact any flat sheet material that is weatherproof and up to 10mm thick can be utilised. “Thermoroof” can also be used in the roof. All these different products bring different characteristics which enable us to custom make your Garden House to your requirements.

Our garden houses are erected on foundations of either a tanalised timber base, concrete footing or, if required, a full concrete pad. The foundations can be made to accommodate uneven sites. Generally we would deliver the framework fully completed but unglazed, ready for installation, once erected on the foundation we would then glaze it to complete it. Should access be limited it may be necessary to assemble the framework on site.

Entrance is provided through a traditional hinged door which has a latching lever handle and this can be lockable if required. When open, the door panel is held firmly in the fully open position by way of a hold back catch. Ventilation is provided by way of opening sashes that can be positioned in either the roof, walls or both. Friction stays hold them in the open position and when closed they are held shut by sash handles. Quality materials are used throughout.

Powder coated aluminium spouting is fitted with downpipes taking water to ground level for collection into your own storage system. Chains can be utilised if required instead of downpipes.

Our prices are GST exclusive and are based on 4mm clear glass all round with toughened glass to the roof, delivered and erected in the greater Dunedin area to a site with access sufficient for it to be delivered fully assembled. As foundation requirements will differ depending on customer preferences and site demands, no allowance is included in the price for this work. However, we can attend to this and will provide a quote for this aspect. Delivery outside of the greater Dunedin area will also necessitate an appropriate delivery fee.
